Charles Eamer Kempe

There is a beautiful stained glass window at Saint Mary the Virgin Bury Parish Church, Lancashire, by the renowned stained glass artist Charles Eamer Kempe. He has a style all of his own and was reputed to shun from repetition in his work. He particularly liked peacock motif's and his signature was a haystack (post 1895).
