Here is a rare view from the roof of Hardwick Hall in Derbyshire. Dominated by the stone hewn Arms of Bess, Countess of Shrewsbury on the new Hall built in the 1590's. The ruins of Hardwick Old Hall in the distance perform a romantic interlude as you gaze into the distance....... ;-)
