New Scroll Hardwick Hall
Upon a recent visit to Hardwick Hall I had the pleasure of joining some stone masons hard at work completing the refurbishment of the south east tower. Here is a scroll detail which belongs to the Elizabethan strapwork on the tower. They were busy washing down the lime mortar pointing to give it a smooth sheen.
